Mexican actor Iñaki Godoy is still on everyone's lips after his great performance as Luffy in the ]One Piece live-action series. The Netflix production is gearing up for its Season 2, so Godoy is very busy. Despite this, he recently gave an interesting interview where he talked about various topics with youtuber Full Haki Marco. Godoy declared himself a big fan of video games and, of course, talked about his favorite titles and his favorite company in the industry.

During part of the interview, Iñaki Godoy acknowledges being a big fan of video games since he was a child. He told several interesting things related to this popular entertainment, such as that he is a great lover of Nintendo and some of its most iconic sagas.

“I'm generation Z, I grew up and breathed video games all my life, of course. I'm mostly Nintendo. Nintendo is my top one. Zelda I love, Majora's Mask is specifically my favorite. Mario Galaxy is some of the best art ever. Pikmin is amazing as well. Metroid... Mother. I love Nintendo,” said the actor.

He also revealed that, on occasion, he would play after training with Mackenyu, the actor who brings Zoro to life. They both enjoyed games of Apex Legends. He also acknowledged that he enjoys Fortnite: Battle Royale and has his group of friends over to play. He mentioned that he would love to see a Luffy skin in Epic Games' game.

On the other hand, he explained that he met Luffy through Super Smash Flash, a fan-made Smash Bros. game that brings together characters from major entertainment franchises. Godoy describes the future King of Pirates as “the guy who smiles a lot.” Below you can watch the full interview in Spanish:
