Sabotage Studio's latest project is exceeding expectations

Sabotage Studio is having one of its most pleasant weeks of the year, as it has just released its latest project, Sea of Stars, which is shaping up to be one of the best RPGs of the year. If you've already played it or are a fan of this studio, there's excellent news.

Thierry Boulanger, director of Sea of Stars, was in an interview with Radio Canada, and the most interesting part is that he confessed that the indie developer, while keeping its feet on the ground, is already considering a "third [game]."

"We just want to make sure we can keep doing what we're doing and be ready to start a third [game] together," the developer commented.

What happened to the Sea of Stars DLC?

The highly anticipated RPG, which started as a Kickstarter campaign, was released on August 29, but the work on it is far from over.

We say this because in its Kickstarter campaign, Sea of Stars promised to have a DLC, Throes of the Watchmaker, which would be a kind of "side adventure" that would expand the world of the original game while somehow suggesting a connection between the developer's IPs.

In the interview, the director didn't speak about the DLC, but that doesn't mean the studio has forgotten about it, especially when considering the post-launch support they gave to The Messenger, their previous project.

It's very possible that the studio will do the same thing as with The Messenger: have half of its team working on DLC for the current game and the other half working on their new project.
