PlatinumGames executives explained the decision to hire Jennifer Hale as Bayonetta's new voice actress when they announced it earlier this month. They cited "a number of coincidental circumstances that would have made it difficult for Hellena Taylor, the historical voice of the Witch of Umbra, to reprise her role."
No one could have imagined the reaction of Taylor, who a few days later gave her side of the story (talking about too low a fee and misconduct by PlatinumGames) and called for a boycott of the game.
What did the new voice actress say about the controversy?
The intervention of the now-former Bayonetta voice actress predictably sparked an uproar, with Kamiya veiledly calling her a liar before shutting down her Twitter account, testimonies from other voice actors with low fees, and a community split in two.
The third instalment's new Bayonetta voice, Jennifer Hale, spoke today. Unfortunately, due to a non-disclosure agreement, the voice actor could not add any commentary, but her words expressed support for her colleague and a plea to gamers not to boycott the game.

A groundswell of support erupted in response to Taylor's letters, including from other voice performers who discussed their encounters with related offers. Following a string of tweets in reaction to Taylor's accusations, Kamiya's access to Twitter was momentarily blocked over the weekend.
Bayonetta 3 will arrive on Nintendo Switch on October 28th. In this link, you will find more information about the new release.
