The Nintendo Switch Online app will no longer be compatible with some iOS devices

In case you didn’t know, Nintendo has a mobile application called Nintendo Switch Online, which allows you, above all, to communicate with your friends when playing a video game together; in addition, it also has extra functions for specific games like the case of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Unfortunately, we got the news that everything indicates that the app will no longer be compatible with some iOS devices.

On the Twitter account in Japan below, which of course, is in Japanese but in that tweet, it is mentioned that the Nintendo Switch Online app will no longer be compatible with Apple devices that have version 13 of iOS or a previous one.

Around the summer of 2022, we plan to update the iOS version of the "Nintendo Switch Online" app. This update will change the operating environment to "iOS version 14.0 or later."
